If you get errors like this on your site when you activate the Mambot on the front end of the site, this is why.

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/../../../../../ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/interi11/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/interi11/public_html/mambots/system/vmrss_v4.php on line 2

or

Site error: the file /home/buyproge/public_html/store/mambots/system/vmrss_v4.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_fre_4.4.so to be installed by the site administrator.

Thsi si not a problem

The issue is that i have scrambled the code, so have included the unscrmablers that are supplied by IonCube (the company how sold the software to me that scrambled it).

The problem is that the installer i made could only handle a few of the loaders (unscramblers), so i chose the wondows version as it was the smallest ones. But there are loads more.
http://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php
Download the zip from the achives for the type of server you have. The error code gives you a good idea of what the problem is, I have made bold the parts that show what it is looking for.

Any help needed, please drop me a post on here.
Regards
Ian

Hi Ian
I just got your newest froogle version 4.

Unfortunately I get following error:

Site error: the file /home/mondial2/public_html/mambots/system/vmrss_v4.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_fre_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

So I tried to set up the "ioncube_loader_fre_5.2.so" but it doesn't work.

Is it possible for you to make a upgrade of the version 4 with the ioncube_loader_fre_5.2.so?

Thanks

marcel

Hi Marcel
You dont just add the one loader, you need to add all the loaders that are in that zip file per server, and it should work perfect.

I tried and tried to add as many common loaders and it just wouldnt work, as the installer is too big for many servers to upload. If i added the Windows, Linux and the open base versions the mambot was about 5.8mb in size. But many cheep servers only accept upto about 2 mb, so when you were installing it, the server would time out and reject it.

Shame isnt it, as it would be great if i could make one installer that had them all.

Ill try and make some mini installers that just install the loaders of the common ones, so you can choose to install Windows, Linux, etc. Ill give that a go tonight or tomorrow if i can find the time.

Let me know if you need a hand
Ian

Could your installer somehow download the needed files directly? This should avoid the upload limits.

Hi Dekard
I have no idea how this would work if it can be done. I can make some pretend mambots, that will upload the files directly in to the correct place, which i think would be a great solution.

But with this site being hacked into every few days, and other ongoing jobs such as www.bullettimephotography.com (my photography portfolio) my work load is going through the roof.

I was working last night (this morning) till 6.30am and started again at 11am.

But i will make it a priority to get the ion-cube mambots done asap, as i know this is a real sticking point for many people who don't understand how to upload files.
Regards
Ian

I have just made a simple mambot there, and it should in theory work perfect for the Linux loaders, but every time i try to upload it i get this error

Failed to move uploaded file to /media directory.

This is the same error i got when i included the Linux files before, and assumed it was too big. It maybe that the extensions (ioncube_loader_lin_4.1.so) the loaders use arnt recognised. Ive popped a post on Joomla to see what others say.

Regards
Ian

PS
This doesn't stop V4 working in any way, it just makes it easier to install if you have different server types, nothing more. It is still OK to do this manually, I'm just trying to find a none techy way of uploading the files.
